I've been reading many of these MT boards for about a year now, and have found them extremely helpful...My S is a HS Junior, and is pursuing his MT dream, and we are currently in the process of prepping, creating 'the spreadsheets', and narrowing down the list of schools. We started at about 50 schools and are down to 30, but need to narrow it down further.
S has looked at the WCSU curriculum, along with many others, and has categorized it as one that he finds interesting. There's so much info on the CC website of so many MT schools, I was dismayed to see WCSU hardly mentioned, and was wondering if that's because it's not known, or some other reason.
WCSU has recently, become an audition school for BFA MT, and has built a new performing arts theatre, and is about a little over an hour away from NYC. I'm looking for any insight anyone may have on the MT program, staff, etc. at WCSU. I welcome any and all input anyone may have about their MT program. Thank you!
