Our freshman daughter was admitted to the school of engineering upon enrollment. She declared biomedical engineering as her major. She met all progression requirements except GPA for math/science classes was .013 below the 3.5 needed to automatically progress. Her overall GPA is now 3.8. Her first semester she took chem 109 honors, a five credit class. It was a tough class for her and she ended up with a B. She put a lot of time and effort into that class at the expense of other classes to a point.
I had searched online to understand the process, but didn't see much about how decisions were made. Our daughter received an email stating that her progression application was approved. I was wondering how many students progress and what options students have if they are not approved as we have other family members/friends coming through net year.
